There is a big brew-ha-ha in the VFP world of the VFP 8, EULA, which basically says that you have to have a Windows license on the machine where you are deploying the application. Many people are screaming product tieing and that this violates Microsoft's anti-trust agreement. Others are saying that since MS doesn't sell the completed application, that it is not tied. IMO, Microsoft is in its right to place this restriction on the runtime. After all, it is their product.
I just got back from the Essential Fox Conference in Kansas City where I spoke on Crystal Reports and User Interface design. If you have never been to this conference, you should watch for it next year. In it's two years, it's become the #2 Fox conference in North America, behind Great Lakes.
Many of you have been asking for an RSS feed of my blog. Blogger, the company that I'm using for blogging, is currently testing RSS feed capabilities. Once they have it working, I'll be adding the RSS feed. Stay tuned.
