Earlier today I installed Visual Studio 2005. The process is much smoother and lots faster than in Beta 1. However, there are still places that need improvement. I was required to shutdown Outlook at Yahoo! Messenger. I'm installing an application!!! There should not be any reason that these other applications need to shutdown. Additionally, I had to reboot at the end of the install. A reboot should NEVER be required when installing an application.
