Continuous Integration in .NET – Chapter 9

I was pretty busy this past week and didn’t have time to post that Chapter 9 of our book, Continuous Integration in .NET has been posted to the Manning web site. In this chapter you’ll learn how to automatically generate documentation, use XML documentation, and generate documentation with Sandcastle. If you’re on the MEAP program, you can download your MEAP update.

Watch for Chapter 10 to come along soon.

Speaking at Boise Code Camp

Got confirmation today that I’m speaking at Boise Code Camp. The camp is March 27-28. I’ll be there on Sunday, March 28. I’ve changed the title of my topic, but the content is the same. It’s “We’re doing Continuous Integration, now what?” I’ll talk about StyleCop, FxCop, and SandCastle, and how to add them to your CI process.

Free excerpts from CI in .NET

Our book, Continuous Integration in .NET is generating lots of interest around the Interwebs. If you’re wondering about this book, you can get some free excerpts. The latest is a look at using TeamCity for your CI server. Check them all out, then go buy the book.

Continuous Integration in .Net

I’ve posted a new article on my web site, “Continuous Integration in .NET“. Continuous Integration is a method where source code is continually built and tested, resulting in better quality applications in less time. While Visual Studio Team System gives you the tools you need to do continuous integration, the cost is prohibitive to most shops. This whitepaper discusses free tools that allow you to integrate continuous integration into your .Net development.
