I've been using NewsGator, an Outlook plugin as my RSS aggregator for some time now, but for various reasons I need something different. The requirements are that it be Windows based and free. Any suggestions?

Earlier today I installed Visual Studio 2005. The process is much smoother and lots faster than in Beta 1. However, there are still places that need improvement. I was required to shutdown Outlook at Yahoo! Messenger. I'm installing an application!!! There should not be any reason that these other applications need to shutdown. Additionally, I had to reboot at the end of the install. A reboot should NEVER be required when installing an application.

Well, I'm back home from Germany. What a wonderful experience!!! I have between 500 and 600 pictures to sort through and will be posting many of them soon. More information on the trip is coming in the next couple of days.

Early tomorrow morning, I make my first trip to Europe to speak at the German DevCon. After the conference, I'm renting a car and doing some touring. The plans are to head down Romantic Road towards Munich and end up there, then head back to Frankfurt on Nov 19 to fly back home. I'm extremely excited to be going. I'm not sure how much connectivity I'll have from Germany, so you may not see much in the next two weeks. However, I see that Rick has posted here and here about his touring before the conference, so hopefully I'll be able to keep you informed on what's happening there. See you in Germany!
